Synopsis: The Doctor tries to take Tegan back to 1981 Heathrow, but instead
lands in 1666, the time of the great plague. The travelers meet Richard Mace, an out-of-work
actor, who tells the Doctor of the recent fall of a comet. The Doctor's
suspicions of extraterrestrial intervention are confirmed when they
discover an android impresonating the Grim Reaper, and control bracelets enslaving
the local villagers' minds. Behind it all are three Terileptils, alien fugitives
stranded on Earth. The Terileptil leader refuses the Doctor's help; instead he plans to
depopulate Earth by releasing an army of plague-carrying rats. The Doctor and his companions
pursue him and his rats, and by doing so, inadvertantly start the Great Fire.
