Synopsis: A mysterious Player gathers the first three incarnations of the Doctor, along with Susan, the Brigadier and Sarah Jane Smith, and dumps them inside the Death Zone on Gallifrey. However, the fourth Doctor and Romana become trapped in a time eddy, hereby endangering the existence of the Fifth Doctor, who has no choice but to travel to the Zone, with Tegan and Turlough. Meanwhile, the High Council have become aware that the Death Zone has been reactivated, and is draining energy from thr Eye of Harmony. They enlist the help of the Master to rescue the Doctor, but he too becomes a prisoner of the Game. The various Doctors encounter a Dalek, a Yeti, the Cybermen, the incredibly fas Raston Warrior Robot, and even the phantom images of other Companions, on their way to the Dark Tower, to Tomb of Rassilon, where they eventually defeat the Master. Meanwhile the Fifth Doctor has used the Master's recall device to get to the Citadel, where he exposes the Player's identity: President Borusa, who wants the Secret of Immortality, which is locked within Rassilon's Tomb. The President and the Five Doctors eventually come face to face in the Tomb. The Spirit of Rassilon appears and offers Borusa his prize, but it is the immortality of a living statue. Rassilon then sends everyone back to his own time, and the Fifth Doctor flees rather than be made President again.
